|Panic channel's activity pause.

sorry for being inactive in livejounal and this comm and suddenly making a post. However, I had still been an active Panic channel fan.
I was at the one man on 12/3 and also heard what the members said about the big announcement.
Many sites might have referred to their activity pause as "disband". I am not being picky about what people wants to think (e.g. activity pause is as good as disbanding) but I would like to say out what the band thinks and why they rather say "activities pause" over "disband".
This is a summary of what meguru said during the announcement:
" We had been discussing about this matter since august this year. Although I dislike " disbanding" or "members leaving the band", but Kyoya will leave the band. It's weird to say "at the same time" but of course, the band have had members change before and now, for the five of us, we have thought about it for a while and decided that the band will go on an activity pause (for infinite time period). Until March, we will be holding event lives and play in the same members lineup we have now.
We really wanted to leave the band's name in the scene, afterall Panic channel has been around for 8~9years. Since the band had quite a long history, the former members too felt the same, we have had history, we grew up together with this name, so we want to leave the name as it is. We could of course just decide on disbanding, but that means "the end", and Panic channel will become the past, like "ex." However, seriously speaking, we want to leave the name as it is. From march, will it be a month later? 2 months later? A year or two later? I don't know, but the name will be there anytime we are prepared to return. Meanwhile, we really did our best in every live we perform so that we have no regrets. We don't want to betray everyone. Disbanding means to have betrayed everyone, so we are not disbanding. "
You might say using the term "activity pause" is just giving false hope and the band would not come back again.Even if so, they seriously want to leave the band name and their music in the scene and in the fans' heart. I don't know how to express this feeling. I can't say for sure whether they will really come back..is it like a year later like Moran? Or 10years later like Luna sea? I really don't know what to expect. But maybe we should feel that they are still active in our hearts. This is why I will go with them to say it's not disbandment, but activity pause.
Kyoya also apologised for deciding to leave the band. He felt that due to various reasons (personal, health etc) and also he start to feel he doesn't fit into the visual kei scene now, he has decided to stop band activity. It's not like he dislike music so he will still continue drumming as an interest. Although it might be selfish of him but he hopes that the fans can still support him and the band till the end.
Being Panic channel's fan from the very beginning, I had been sad over members leaving and excited over new members joining the band. I really liked the concept of the band and feel sad that they will stop activities now. It happens to so many bands who have done similar decisions, but I will still be a panic channel fan till the end. I hope everyone could continue to support the band and their music no matter what happens.
That's all I wanted to say. I hope I'm not being annoying or anything. =)
Their website hasn't updated their lastest image but they have 2 new costumes now for "panikku channeru"side and also new photosets for these costume (as well as for ch side).
I really liked these new images =)
In case people wanted to know, Kana did not play at this one-man live show. However he is doing well but still needs some time for recovery before he can come back on stage.
